The apple smartphones,produced by Apple lnc which uses Apple's own IOS Mobile operating system was founded by Steve Jobs.
The project"project purple"within Apple Inc was approved toward the end of 2004 by CEO Steve Jobs for the confidential development of iPhone .
Jobs unveiled the first generation iPhone to the public in January 9,2007 at the MacWorld 2007 convention at the Moscone centre in San Francisco and was a fusion of "an iPod,a phone and an internet communicator".
Since history,Apple have been known to be releasing new models on a yearly basis.Suming up to 42 models.
In 2011,Steve Jobs was succeeded by Timothy Donald Cook who had previously been the company's Chief Operating Officer 

EVOLUTION OF IPHONE
ORIGINAL IPHONE
Unveiled in January 9,2007 and released in June 29,2007.
FEATURES: offered 3.5 -inch screen,2 megapixel cemeras 


IPHONE 3G
Unveiled June 9,2008 and released July 11,2008.
FEATURES: Ability to connect to a 3G network;GPS services;extra storage.


IPHONE 3GS
Unveiled in June 8,2009 and released in June 19,2009.
FEATURES:Twice faster than the previous model.


IPHONE 4
Unveiled in June 7,2010 and released in June 19,2010
FEATURES:This model introduced face time video chat and high-resolution "Retina" display screen.

Unveiled in October 4,2011and released in October 14,201
FEATURE:New dual core A 5 processor;Siri,a special assistance program was introduced.

Unveiled in September 12,2012and released in September 21,2012 
FEATURES: slimmer and faster;4-inch diagonal screen.

Unveiled in September September 10,2013 and released in September 20,2013.
FEATURES: iPhone 5s got faster;64- bit A7 SoS (System on a Chip); touch ID;a motion data processor

Unveiled in September 9,2014 and released in September 12,2014.
FEATURES: iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch screen while 6 plus has 5.5-inch screen;both has an upgraded cameras;A8 processor;NFC technology support via Apple pay.

Unveiled in September 9,2015 and released in September 25,2015.
FEATURES: A9 chip;3D touch technology;12-megapixel isight camera; advanced ID security;faster CTE/Wi-Fi.


IPHONE 7/7 PLUS
Unveiled in September 7,2016 and released in September 16,2016.
FEATURES:Apple eliminated Audio jack, changed the home button into a heptic-based virtual button; improved cameras(plus model gets a dual camera setup;both model runs on a core A10 chip.

IPHONE 8/8 PLUS
Unveiled in September 12,2017 and released in September 22,2017
FEATURES:The front and back gets new glass and aluminum design; Retina display;A11 Bionic chip;new single and dual cameras with support for potrait lightening;wireless charging.


IPHONE X
Unveiled in September 12,2017 and released in November 3,2017.The concept of this model was to commemorate a decade anniversary of iPhone.
FEATURES:Home button we're removed in favor of face ID which uses a TrueDepth projector,infared camera and flood illuminator.;A11 Bionic chip neural engine which performs up to 600 billions operations;super retina display/OLED panel.


IPHONE XR
Unveiled in September 12,2018 and released in October 26,2018.
FEATURES: 6.1-inch liquid retina display;A12 Bionic chip ( second generation neural engine); TrueDepth camera system; aluminum and glass design with improved water resistance; established iPhone gestures supported;haptic touch control to instantly launch the cameraor flashlight from the home screen.


IPHONE XS/XS MAX
Unveiled in September 12,2018 and released in September 21,2018
FEATURES:5.8-inch and 6.5-inch screen respectively;Both offered super retina OLED display;four built in mics,could record stero sounds;A12 Bionic chip (2nd generation neural engine) capable of completing up to 5 trillion operations per seconds.

Unveiled in September 10,2019 and released in September 20,2019
FEATURES:6.1-inch liquid retina HD display;12MP front facing camera; Apple's new A13 Bionic processor which allows an extra hours of use;Audio zoom,making it possible to zoom an audio when a video is zoomed

Unveiled in September 10,2019 and released in September 20,2019.
